Untamed East
11 Days, 10 Nights
As the name might suggest, The Untamed East is Wild! This 11 day Adventure in the far East of Cuba or the Oriente as it is commonly referred to is our guides favourite. They say the hardest places to get to tend to be the most beautiful and The Untamed East is no exception. It is so steeped in culture and rich in history that it often called the “cradle” of Cuban history. Suffice to say that both Fidel and Raul Castro were born here; Jose Marti died here; Christopher Columbus landed here; it holds the shrine to Cuba’s patron saint and features the oldest Spanish colonial cities on the island and is the birthplace of Cuban music. The diversity of ecosystems ranges from lush tropical rainforest to desert, with white powder beaches, pristine coral reefs, extreme waterfalls, and remote rivers few foreigners have ever seen. To top it off, it is the Chocolate capital of Cuba! You will see, taste and experience all of this on this once in a lifetime adventure!
