IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT FLIGHTS
One of the most important goals is to have all our client’s flights arriving and departing around the same time. Before booking your flights for our trips please consult with the Cuba Adventure Company to help choose the right flight based on our tour schedule and other party’s flights. As you can imagine, this can get very complicated. It is our goal to make this as smooth as possible and to use our bus as the main shuttle to and from the airport. View our terms and conditions
Day 1 - Pinares de Mayari Village Arrival at HOG International Airport. Collect your bags and go through customs. You will be welcomed just outside the airport by your bilingual Cuban guide and professional bus driver. This is the perfect time to exchange your money into the local Cuban currency (C.U.C.). We recommend exchanging enough money to have a minimum of $250-$350 C.U.C. on you for the duration of the trip. This will come in handy for buying extra drinks, souvenirs, and tips. Enjoy the comfort of our coach bus while taking in the scenery on route to our first location, Pinares de Mayari Village. Check-in and enjoy the peaceful mountain atmosphere with an optional short hike to a beautiful vista. Dinner at the resort. Enjoy free time after dinner. Accommodations: Pinares de Mayari Village
Day 2 - El Salto del Guayabo/Cayo Saetia/Safari Breakfast will be at 7:30am at the resort. After breakfast we depart to “El Salto del Guayabo” for a hike to one of the Caribbean’s tallest waterfalls. It is a moderate plus hike but worth it once you arrive at the base of this spectacular waterfall. A traditional charcoaled BBQ feast perched high up on a covered look out on top of the waterfalls after your hike. Truly, a room with a view! After lunch we Depart to Cayo Saetia Village which is located in a 45 square kilometer island nature reserve. Once arriving and checking into the resort there is free time. There is a pristine private beach minutes away if you are looking for some peace and solitude. Dinner is back at the resort and the menu is exotic. Accommodations: Cayo Saetia Village

The aquamarine waters are so inviting, after lunch we dive in and enjoy an afternoon of snorkeling and stang up paddle boarding on the local reef just off the beautiful white sand beaches. Dinner is back at the resort at 7:30. Accommodations: Cayo Saetia Village

This is a long, twisty drive but as we get closer to Baracoa the famous lush tropical scenery of the far East begins to immerge. We stop in the small community of La Vega del Taco to see how the locals prepare traditional east coast snacks like Cucurucho. If you have anything in your back pack for the kids, their smiling faces will last a life time in your memories. Just up the road we visit the “Alexander Van Humboldt” National Park and then it’s on to Baracoa city. The oldest Spanish settlement in Cuba, this almost unspoiled colonial village is surrounded by secluded ‘black sand’ beaches, virgin rainforest and crystal clear rivers. On the horizon looms the most recognizable local landmark, a table-topped hill called El Yunque. Simply put Baracoa is the gem of Cuba. We check-in at “El Castillo hotel for a late lunch.
